Security, Retention and Your Rights Over Account Data

Your account data is protected through a layered approach covering encryption at rest, access controls on our systems, and strict internal policies on who can view your personal records.

Data Encryption

All personal data stored on 6orbit servers is encrypted at rest using current industry standards. Payment details processed through UPI, Paytm and PhonePe are never stored on our servers beyond the transaction confirmation stage.

Cookie Controls

We use session cookies and analytics cookies on this site. You can manage your cookie preferences from the settings panel in your account, and you may withdraw cookie consent at any time without affecting your account access.

Account Security

Two-factor authentication is available on all accounts and we strongly encourage you to activate it. Suspicious login attempts trigger an automatic account hold and an immediate notification to your registered email address.

Data Retention Schedule

We keep your account data for the period required by applicable law, typically three to seven years for financial records. After the retention period expires, data is securely deleted from our systems according to our internal deletion schedule.

Your Access Rights

You have the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Submit a data access request through the legal email channel and we will deliver a full data export to your registered email within 30 days.

How to Request Changes

If any personal detail on your account is inaccurate — name, address, contact number — contact our legal support team with proof of the correct detail. We will update your record within five business days of receiving valid documentation.

We collect your name, date of birth, email address, phone number and the payment method identifiers associated with UPI, Paytm or PhonePe transactions. This data is used only for account operation, identity verification and legal compliance.

Financial transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law, which is generally three to seven years. Account profile data is held for as long as your account is active and for a defined period after closure.
